Our Commitment to Accuracy
At Knowledge Mart, accuracy is our primary pillar. Given the sensitivity of political forecasting and administrative reporting, we follow a rigorous verification process before any article is published.
Verification Process
- Primary Sources: We prioritize primary sources, including official Gazettes, Election Commission of India (ECI) notifications, and direct government press releases.
- Cross-Referencing: Information from secondary sources (news agencies) is cross-referenced with at least two other reputable outlets or official documentation.
- Data Integrity: Statistical data, such as voter turnout, seat shares, or administrative transfer lists, are verified against official datasets.
- Technical Verification: For tech-focused political topics (e.g., EVM security or database encoding), we consult technical documentation to ensure administrative claims are grounded in technical reality.
Correction Protocol
Despite our best efforts, errors may occur. We maintain a transparent correction policy:
- Prompt Action: Errors are corrected as soon as they are identified.
- Transparency: If a factual error is significant, a “Correction Note” will be added to the top or bottom of the article explaining what was changed and when.
- User Feedback: We encourage our readers to report potential inaccuracies via our Contact Us page. Every report is investigated by the editorial team.
