Anarchy in West Bengal now: Act quickly

Bizarre condition and Anarchy in West Bengal

West Bengal today is suffering from an extreme sense of negativity. So, everywhere you look, there is chaos, despair, frustration, unrest, and the anguished cries of people, a complete scenario of Anarchy in West Bengal. Significantly, Do we deserve this appalling situation today?

We inherit a vibrant and illustrious legacy. After all, this state has gifted Nobel laureates, valiant freedom fighters, distinguished intellectuals, acclaimed scientists, and eminent medical professionals. We have had celebrities in its true sense. In fact, The West Bengal was the best in industry and remained a major contributor of the GDP.

In contrast, it becomes an audacity if we want to compare the West Bengal of Mamata Banerjee with that rich and colorful legacy.

The reasons for such a bizarre condition are also historic. Indeed, the beautiful state has turned into a barren state today in phases. Thus, the revolutionary Bengali dug its own grave. Our insurgent mindset and indomitable desire to remove all impediments and irregularities have perhaps caste a tremendous negative effect.

Hence, the political bosses fueled our emotions and the poor citizens have been carried away by such rhetoric.

When politicians delivered fiery speeches, we applauded like fanatics and kept supporting them blindly like hypnotized crowd.

Conversely, We have never tried to delve into the incidents behind the screen. We have been so blind that we have taken their face value notwithstanding the fatal outcome.

Anarchy in West Bengal when Mamata Banerjee comes down for protest

CPM era vs Mamata Banerjee regime

Additionally, we have been instrumental to thwart the political juggernaut CPM party just with the belief of an illusive peaceful regime. As a result, the People believed that we would get back our esteem democracy.

Despite this, we failed to imagine that we are replacing the party-led governance by an electoral autocracy. On the other hand, today, we can realize that we had paved the way to deceive ourselves, rising to Anarchy in West Bengal.

Buddhadeb Bhattacharya left no stone unturned to bring industry to the state. Even West Bengal had been able to bring some big IT Hubs in those days. That does not prove their integrity in Governance, but there was an effort at the least. Today, our ironclad land law has cast a negative impact on the industry-friendly image of West Bengal.

In spite of several allegation, the CPM Government at least used to conduct the SSC, PSC type of examinations every year for mass recruitments. Consequently, there is a vivid change in the situation. For Example, corruptions and extortion have replaced their nepotism and arrogance.

However, none of the judgement of that era could call the entire process to be vitiated. So, we have to digest even the allegations like institutional corruption from the Supreme Court.

In Contrast, the outbound-migration has reached the hilt. We can see the closure of more than 6000 primary schools. Moreover, the Colleges and Universities are fighting for survival. The school teachers remain busier in extinguishing the paperwork for the freebies than taking classes.

Part-time Contractual job workers

Nevertheless, the police force is appointing civic volunteers and the education segment is going for the part timers. What more Anarchy in West Bengal could show us?

Similarly, the political robin hoods of Trinamool Congress have been dominating every sphere of life. Finally, West Bengal has become a safe heaven for the illegal immigrants, rowdies, militants and other anti-socials. The molestation or murder has come up so frequently that the introspection to one is diverted by the next one.

Vote bank politics: Another cause of Anarchy in West Bengal

Indeed, we had noticed lawlessness in CPM rein also. But we have not seen such a naked appeasing policy. The police become hesitant to take any action against any offender of the ruling party. The Fez hat enjoys the immunity like just like the red-beacon cars. Police take shelter under the table out of fear.

Moreover, the internal conflicts and factions of Trinamool Congress also confuses the police force. The commoners have become dependent on freebies instead of job. So, the hard-earned money remains as illusion for the youths. They are directionless today.

The state treasury is collapsing under pressure of freebies. The vote politics has triumphed over the actual development. Can we call it in any better name than Anarchy in West Bengal?

Above all, the routine conflict with the central government has debarred us from the central schemes like MGNREGA, Ayushman Bharat, Grameen Sadak Yojana, Prime Minister Awas Yojana.

Again, the root cause is corruption and money laundering at all levels. The reports reveal about money laundering and cut-money culture at every stage and every corner of West Bengal.

Even the Mamata Banerjee Government becomes hesitant in land acquisition for fencing in border, expansion of highways and railways.

In Conclusion, the question remains, how long do we need to sustain such anarchy and tremendous negativity?
