Mamata Banerjee and Suvendu Adhikary

Attack on Suvendu Adhikary

Suvendu Adhikary, the leader of Opposition faced a series of attacks in South 24 Parganas. In addition, they sarcastically took places on his way back from inaugurate Kali Puja pandals.

Consequently, The BJP leader Suvendu Adhikary has met series of orchestrated attacks of TMC in South 24 Parganas while Mamata Banerjee still refrains from condemning the same attacks in different places and faced the worst possible vandalism in front of the Lalpur Madrasa.

Moreover, We are yet to hear any condemn from Mamata Banerjee or TMC. Nevertheless, BJP has raised his voices against this relentless attack.

Furthermore, the TMC Zilla Parishad Member Rekha Gazi orchestrated the vandalism. In contrast, the allegations point fingers to the illegal immigrants, Bangladesh Muslims created the chaos.

Also, Suvendu Adhikary even alleged the involvement of  the SP Koteswara Rao in the entire conspiracy of obstruction. Those hooligans had been raising slogans such as ‘Joy Bangla’ while trying to stop Adhikari’s car.

As a result, On the eve of the election, he tried to justify himself by saying that, as a Hindu, he has the right to join any religious event.  Suvendu Adhikary challenged the protesters were “venting out their anger”, as the upcoming SIR will strike off their names from the voter’s list.

Thus, the infiltrator-friendly TMC Eco system has allowed them to settle in this region, which is in close proximity with Bangladesh.

TMC Defense and unanswered Questions

However, the report reveals that there had been many females in the front with the males remaining on the backdrop. Suvendu reinforced that the radicals “cynically used women as a shield”. Conversely, Jay Prakash Majumdar, the TMC spokesperson, repeated the familiar claim. He said it to be a mass agitation because of the deprivation of funds by the BJP-led central government.

The question remains how could the protestors arrange so many banners, placards instantly? How could they receive the news of Suvendu Adhikary’s visiting route details to orchestrate such a demonstration?   Rekha Gazi claimed people were upset with Adhikari’s anti-Muslim comments.

According to the Senior CPI(M) leader Sujan Chakraborty, Attack on Suvendu is logical equal to the way, he used to show atrocities against Left supporters during his tenure in TMC.

Political Dynamics on the attack on Suvendu Adhikary

Political observers want to remind that this is the lates addition to the series of attacks of TMC supporters on BJP leaders and office bearers. The state had witnessed a brutal attack on Khagen Murmu and Shankar Ghosh, in Nagrakata. Suvendu also faced an attack in the North Bengal.

Such attacks may intensify in the upcoming months as the2026 assembly election is almost knocking at the door. Samik Bhattacharya alleged that TMC members derive sadistic pleasure by shedding the blood of the opposition while the administration plays the role of silent spectator.

The history unravels that when the rulers lose confidence on people’s verdict despite their Political high-handedness. When the political muscle-flexing seizes to work, it implies that Mamata Banerjee has been in despair and also feeling unprecedented nervousness. The media’s influence deeply resonated with the masses.

That fear pushed her to launch a panicky campaign to control the media. She is targeting those outlets which are famous for raising voices of opposition.
