The gala release of Krrish 3 on the eve of Diwali 2013

The Rakesh Roshan – Hrithik Roshan combination in Hindi cinema rose to superstardom right at its commencement with the film Kaho Na Pyar Hai. It has only spiraled in fabulous strides to a glitzy height of stardom leaving a glorious trail behind for others to follow. As for son Hrithik, with his Greek god looks, superlative physique, amazing aptitude for dance been a top-notch hero since debut it was his father’s direction, script and incredible sense of feeling the pulse of the audience that have produced many more successes than failures for this duo.

Krrish 3 costing more than Rs.115 crore, is a Hindi film that takes the story of the main protagonist Krishna Mehra (Krrish) played by Hrithik Roshan ahead after its two prequels Krrish and Koi…Mil Gaya, each of which were blockbusters at the box-office.

Priyanka Chopra as Priya, Vivek Oberoi as Kaal is the antagonist and Kangana Ranaut as Kaya form the other main cast in this Rakesh Roshan directed film. This film has released worldwide on November 1, 2013 and is a superhero science fiction in 2D format.

The plot revolves around the ways, means and awesome stunts in spectacular fight sequences involving Hrithik who takes on evil mutants to save the world from destruction in his superhero avatar. The mutants being a combination of maanas and jaanwar are known as maanvar and shown to be created by Kaal, played by Vivek, through experiments. The soundtrack listing of the film includes Krrish Krrish, the title track, sung by Mamta Sharma and Rajesh Roshan, Raghupati Raghav by Neeraj Shridhar and Monali Thakur, Dil Tu Hi Bataa by Alisha Chinai and Zubeen Garg, You Are My Love by Mohit Chauhan and God Allah Aur Bhagwan by Sonu Nigam and Shreya Ghoshal.

Rakesh roshan’s traits glimpses from each part of his most expensive film till date that has slick execution of a next genre movie.

However the film is low on the songs as they are quite a part of today completely forgetting about the surroundings which show us a ultra modern world. The dialogues too are over the top and at certain points the scripts seems to have blended quite badly leaving prickly edges. The unmatched action sequences cover all the loose ends to bring this ambitious film full circle. Knowledgeable action-choreographer Tony Ching from China has toiled to make each sequence unique while retaining its thrill. The use of special effects is very skilled and has made the film run at an extraordinary pace.

At last but not in the least the hard work of Hrithik Roshan to put into the role what the director wanted has made this a must watch of 2013. Let’s just count how long it takes to race to the new found crore clubs of Bollywood films.
