Simply because the girl is dancing on stage and the choreographer is toiling offstage? Logically the chick or the hunk burning the stage is the puppet for choreographer; they are only imitating the actions of the choreographer. Alike choreographer, there is a huge group of back ground dancers, who are indispensable. The audiences are never attentive towards them. Moreover, in the unit they are termed as extras!

What is the necessity of the back side dancers when they are termed as extras, with simply no recognition?

But back ground dancers are of mammoth magnitude. Dancers are lacking their due venerate and status due to lack of exposure and media inquests. After winning any dance reality shows it is the on stage performer who hogs all the limelight, even the media attention is subjected on them! The status of choreographers and background dancers will be stagnant until the society, as whole realize their indispensability.
